Hospital Indemnity Plus pays a fixed dollar amount per covered service, regardless of the actual cost incurred. The plan is available to individuals aged 0–64, with guaranteed renewability for policyholders beyond age 65. It is structured to help close financial gaps left by traditional health insurance, covering expenses related to hospital stays, outpatient procedures, surgeries, and emergency care.

Unlike many hospital indemnity plans that impose internal limits on specific benefits, Hospital Indemnity Plus aggregates all benefits toward a single annual and outpatient benefit maximum. This structure simplifies the plan and allows for more generous and flexible reimbursements. For example, policyholders receive a payment for each day they are confined in a hospital, with no limit on the number of days unless they reach the annual benefit maximum.
